Is-sinjal għal QABDU LIL ĠESÙ għandu żewġ partijiet (i) L-ewwel iż-żewġ idejn forma ta’ 5 bis-swaba’ mifrudin, joħorġu dritt ’il quddiem, bis-swaba jingħalqu f’ponn waqt li l-idejn jersqu lura f’salt u jiġu polż fuq polz. (ii) Imbagħad isir is-sinjal għal ĠESÙ. Dan isir b’id waħda li tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 miftuħ laxk bil-pala tħares laġenba waqt li l-id l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 bis-saba’ tan-nofs imniżżel. Dan is-saba’ jolqot in-nofs tal-pala tal-ewwel id. Dan kollu jiġi ripetut bil-kontra, jiġifieri, l-idejn jibdlu.
The sign for JESUS IS ARRESTED has two parts. (i) The first part is made with both hands in the shape of 5 with fingers apart. The hands move straight outwards with the fingers closing into a fist as the hand move back abruptly and they are placed wrist over wrist. (ii) The sign for JESUS is made. One hand takes the shape of loosely open 5 with palm facing sideways whilst the other hand takes the shape of 5 with the middle finger bent down. This finger hits the middle of the palm of the first hand. This is repeated reversing the roles of the hands.
